Ellen Brundige+ is a writer with an M.A. in classics and a second in mythological studies/psychology (no, that is not a typo). I've been publishing on the net for work or as a hobby since before it was the web.

Along the way, I've had fun learning how the web works. I used to publish on classical mytholology, history and art, since that's what I studied in school, but in the last four years I've become fascinated with search engine optimization (see my Hub, "SEO is Poetry, Not Trickery") and the constant evolution of the web.

As Heraclitus said long ago, Ta panta rhei, "everything flows." He was probably talking about the next Google update.

While my own schooling is in the humanities, I have a keen interest in earth and space sciences thanks to the scientists in my family. I was and remain an avid reader of National Geographic, Scientific American, The Planetary Report and the like.

I enjoy writing on all of the above topics, preferably when they overlap. (See "The Volcano That Divided Europe in 726 AD" for a typical example.)
